The pink impact that suddenly appears in a quiet landscape surrounded by mountains. That is the unmanned Yamagata station located in Chizu Town, Tottori Prefecture.

The “Koi Station Project” has started with the aim of revitalizing the region, with the cooperation of only four stations throughout Japan that have “love(恋)” in the station name.

In 2013, the company released a limited “love station ticket” and sold out rapidly. Chizu Express Co., Ltd. has renewed the station building repainted in pink, the paint with the heart mark as a motif, the monument, the signboard, and the station name mark. And, an original votive panel is selling as well. After renewal, it was featured in various media.
