Nagasaki Prefecture was the only place where foreign trade was permitted during the Edo period. There are many tourist spots such as the Glover Garden, the Oura Catholic Church built by Christians, and the Urakami Catholic Church that give a glimpse of foreign culture. This is a place where you can feel the history and culture clearly that you cannot see in other places. In addition, in the south of the Shimabara peninsula, there are many volcanic hot springs. In the north of Sasebo, many tourists are attracted by the kingdom of light at Huis Ten Bosch .
